A Day Of Summer
Chilly sun from my window
Gleemed from the sky,
Dews of frost in my room
Left it bright and dry.
The air is warm and sound
The hummings yield a brisk,
Move my sleeping vibes
And whirl it like a whisk.
The crickets get me dancing
By their stridulating wings,
The dried falls of spring, i see
Flying in the rings.
The smell of greens holds me up
As the roots of neem,
Those tender rays of the sorin
Harsh and burnt that seem.
The vigorous white clouds on blue
Like the fur of joy,
The glint of drops on the turfs
Urging the earth to cloy.
Ah the summer makes me blush
As the buds of spring,
And its light brings alive
The tales of queens and kings.
