The solution may not assume the character of fixation in itself. Your temperament and your behavior are a product of your childhood experiences. Experiences form our attitudes and opinions relating to matters. folks typically tend to believe what they believe is true and not what's the truth. merely place it's your personal opinion concerning things that shape your beliefs, attitudes and behavior
The question would possibly also take you back to the title of this article. pronouncing it repeatedly can assist you to perceive what it means. Else it makes no sense to be used the manner they're particularly for a title. folks typically confuse the words personality and appearance, which is so untrue. To clarify this concept we'd like to take a look at what the term originally means.
The term personality has been derived from the Latin term 'persona' which means a mask worn by actors in a play for enactment, during the ancient periods of history. This might
provoke a question in your mind about what exactly does the term refer to. This is where conditioning comes into play. How the information gets registered in your mind is more important than what information is getting registered. Two types of conditioning have generally been considered as the basis of the formation of one's behavioural patterns.
The conventional form of conditioning is known as classical conditioning discovered by the behavioral psychologist Ivan V. Pavlov. This behavior comprises that behavior is formed when an association between two forms of stimuli that generate emotions and feelings is made and if repeated regularly becomes a concrete pattern in one's mind over time. This was explained when a dog was put into an experiment and the behavior displayed was observed.
An aroma of fresh food was directed towards the dog and changes in behaviour were noticed. The dog starts wagging its tail and makes its way where the aroma leads it to. Moving further it finds the food 30 metres ahead of where it was served. Having repeated this process over and over again
leads to the formation of a behavioural pattern. After some time when the dog was conditioned this way one day, the experimenters only directed the aroma towards the dog but the food wasn't served after 2 or 3 times changes were noticed in its behaviour. The dog was now least encouraged to move towards the direction the aroma led to.
A lesser vigour followed by not attempting to follow the aroma was observed and then there were days when sometimes the food was served and sometimes wasn't and alternatively swapped. What's interesting to note here is that now irrespective of whether the food was served or not the dog no longer attempted to follow the aroma nor any sign of excitement was displayed.
This is how the 'how' becomes more important than the 'what'.
But what has been written so far can be read by anyone.
What's more important is to note that after a few observations of u rewarded behaviour the dog made no response to what had excited it so much in the beginning. This is what exactly happens in our lives as well.
there are times when after learning a new activity or process we reach a point where results aren't as ensured as they were in the initial stages of learning. The reason for people giving up can easily be traced to this scientific discovery. The reason why the how becomes more important than what is found when the dog did not attempt even when the food was served after alternate gaps or after a couple of days. But we as humans have faculties in our minds far more capable than the cognition of a dog.
This is the reason why people say that one should be obsessed with the process of achievement rather than the results, as results are not inevitable the way we think they are, or should be. You might consider this a random article but what is written if conveyed deeply in your mind can produce wonders. The success stories which are heard or shared have the same foundation. One such example I can cite is, from the all-time favorite Napoleon Hill's masterpiece 'Think and grow rich' wherein he describes his personal experience of his child able to retain his hearing abilities even though the doctors had confirmed that he will be deaf his entire life as there was a gap noticed between the receptors which receive the signals and send it to the brain for sound to be heard.
He had been put into a situation wherein the fact that he was not going to fit among normal people was never acknowledged no matter how impractical it may seem. He was admitted to a regular school and after years or so with the required efforts he was able to hear everything clearly without any hearing device.
